Ahmed is excellent!! Quickly response, competitive pricing, honest, professional and got the job done quick AND did a quality job. I needed to have my roof replaced per my homeowners insurance and Ahmed even personally worked with my insurance to ensure they received everything they needed. Not only is he polite with his customers, he seems to respect his employees! You can tell when an employee gets mistreated by his boss - he shows it in his attitude and work - but my personal experience with his employees left a lasting impression. They were informative and had a great attitude. How a company treats their employees matters; it’ll be reflected in the work they do. I had a small leak on my roof caused by the hurricane. Another company came out to inspect and exaggerated the size of the damage and also inflated their cost. I agreed to work with them until it was time to schedule the repairs and they said I would be responsible for paying extra for a man lift and safety gear for their staff. Something that was never discussed with me prior. I cancelled the appointment and found Achilles Roofing on Thumbtack. Ahmad and Jorge were quick to show up, sent me a quote that was commensurate to the size of my repair and did a fantastic job at a fraction of the cost compared to what the initial company charged. Jorge even used a ladder to get to the roof and not a man-lift. Thank you so much. I will definitely be patronizing this company again. ~ Maxy A

These guy came to the rescue. I was working out of town and my house sitter took a picture of my blown off ridge cap from one of the storm lines the blew down. Out of all the contractors I contacted that night to get quotes lined up, these guys were the firsts ones up on the roof inspecting the damage at 8am the following day. Their quote was right on point with what my construction estimating software was showing. They showed up again at 8am on the agreed day and fixed my ridge cap and made it look better then it did before. To top it all off, we were able to work everything remotely. Damage was reported, fixes were documented and they were able to do payments via different apps. I highly recommend reaching out to these guys for any roof repairs. I was very impressed ~ Brandon F

A little background, I was in Houston visiting family from Kentucky. My brother in law ask to get his roof replaced and see insurance would take care of it. I call several places to get estimates Ahmad and his his company was very responsive in giving me an estimate. I left Houston and went back to Kentucky and later found out that the insurance would not replace the roof. I called Ahmad on Thursday needing his assistance to get setup and replace the roof. By Monday his team was there to start on the demo and completed late that evening. Ahmad Faiz, Project Manager came out and provided me with an estimate. He was very professional. He was prompt and on time! He explained the process from start to finish. He even brought shingle samples and explained the quality of each! It was obvious that he was very knowledgeable about roofing and the products associated with it. On the day of the install, Achilles arrived on time as discussed. They were very professional, and installed my brand new roof. Ahmad sent me pictures of every phase of the installation! They made sure to clean up after the work was completed. One of the most professional companies I’ve worked with. I will highly recommend them to everyone. The price was reasonable. I would also like to recommend Achilles Establishment to anyone. One thing I appreciate is Amad's honesty. I am the Sr. Pastor of Greater Harvest Church. We needed a metal roofing company to come out and inspect our roof. We found Achilles Establishment on to come out and inspect a leak. Water was coming into our sanctuary. We had two other roofing companies come out and neither of them informed what the "true" condition of our repair needs were. They did give us quotes after inspecting but, neither of them told us what the problem was. Achilles contacted us and immediately came out, repaired it on the spot. These guys did a great job for a great price. Ahmad Faiz is a spectacular customer service individual and the crew headed by Ray Diaz are true professionals. The repairs needed to this home built in 1965 were not extra to the roof installation, nor was the high-tech TPO membrane system over the small flat section. The work was basically accomplished in 4 consecutive days, also over a Saturday and Sunday before the rain came on Monday. The work on this new metal roof has dramatically increased the value of the house and curb appeal. I was in the awning business as a lead installer and I was amazed for this lean new breed of establishment who perform on every level. I had a problem leak for nearly 50 years and two roofs since the original, and this was addressed without me mentioning it. Needless mentioning is that there are no leaks and I am ready for the wind driven rain. ~ don l

Found Achilles Roofing by doing an online search, it’s hard to find honest people to do business now a days. Everyone wants to make a quick buck, communication with all parties is very important, from client, owner and crew to avoid any miscommunication. I contacted Ahmad and he answered my questions and concerns in a timely manner. They came out and gave me an estimate for a full roof replacement, fascia, soffit and gutters. We agreed to start the project on 2/7/23, even though we had some rain during the afternoon they still managed to finish the project in one day. Ahmad and the crew were friendly and professional. If I could give Ahmad and his crew more than 5 stars, I would. I had called 4 different roofing companies before I got in touch with Achilles and all 4 of them were either rude, never called back or way over priced. I noticed Achilles did a great job on a house down the road, so I gave Ahmad a call for an estimate on my roof which needed a complete replacement. He came out the next day and quoted me for a great price. Ahmad responds very quickly to my calls/texts and was always polite. My house is over 2,200 sqft and they completed the job in less than 10 hours. The end product looks great. I will be calling Ahmad for all of my roofing needs in the future. ~ Marc O

Achillies Roofing put on new shingles on our 3 story townhome the middle of December. They did an excellent job! It even took above & beyond what was originally expected due to the side angles of our roof line. What was expected to be a two day job turned into four days. The workers showed up everyday including Sunday to finish without complaint. They worked especially hard to cleanup while they were working, and when the job was completed they made sure they cleaned all areas around our townhome. The owner of the business is very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would have no problem using his company again on any project. I found Achilles Roofing on Thumb Tack like others have mentioned. After looking at other reviews I was happy to see there was nothing but positive comments. I got quotes from other company’s with Achilles being the most budget friendly. I’m happy to say I had nothing but great and speedy communication. After they replaced my facia board there were some shingles and some drip edge that was in bad shape. They were able to replace those for me with no push back or extra fees. When dealing with contractor typically I worry about things. But with these guys they really handled their business well with a great finished product. I would recommend them to anyone. ~ Corey B

Achilles Establishments is a very professional firm that guides and walks their customers through the full life cycle of roof replacement. As a first time client with little knowledge of the roof replacement process Ahmed and his team were very supportive in providing information on what has to happen before his team can start, what his team will accomplish per day, what material is purchased, and needs to happen post roof installation. I had a full roof job replacing tiles with new shingles. I got several quotes and Achilles’s quote was reasonable. I spoke to Ahmad and explained my situation and need for a very fast turnaround due to location and some other limitations. He promised to bring two crews at the same time to get the job done. This is a two story large house with heavy and old tiles. It also needed re-decking before installing shingles. The crew started at 6:30 in the morning and they were done by 3 pm. My jaw dropped and his fast and clean work was talk of the neighborhood. I absolutely recommend this team and will use them for future projects for sure! ~ Ali

Ahmad was reasonable on price and very easy to work with. I am building a new house and wanted to put on a metal roof. Located Ahmad and he gave me the best price. Due to the fact masons would be bricking above portions of the metal roof I just wanted the underlayment put down until brick work was finished which turned out to be about 4 months. Came back several times during this time to deal with issues and even helped me with the flashing around a couple of arched windows that the framer couldn’t do. When we finally put on the roof l was very happy with the work, appearance and quality. Also did my gutters which also look great. ~ James P

This was my first time I had good luck with a roofer. First of all the head person of the company promptly & on time came to my house to give me a free estimate. Since I had a good impression on him I decided to do business with him. In a few days a young worker Jorge came on time to work for me. Not only he was a good worker but also he had a very pleasant attitude. As I was interested in how he was going to repair he kindly explained it to me. He worked hard till he finished all the work. Achilles Roofing replaced my mobile home roof in September. The crew did a phenomenal job! In addition, they completed the roof replacement in 1 day and the remaining fascia board painting the next day, in spite of on/off rains in Houston at that time. What I really like about this company is that they do what they say, charge what was estimated, are flexible and are very responsive. Ahmad walked me through everything from day one and kept me informed through completion of the job. Even though this appears to be a small company, their service is top of the line! Especially since I had called several other large-scale companies who came out and did estimates then ghosted me when they realized the job would entail more than they bargained/quoted for. First class in every manner. Ahmad represented his company quite professionally. They had all the necessary documents to demonstrate self insurability, bonding, and licensing certification with GAF for the state of Texas. These were important to me to demonstrate quality roofing replacement for my insurance company and our HOA. The final result was a replaced roof that complemented our home as well as when we had it built 22 years ago. Our neighbors also remarked on how well the crew cleaned up the yard after the work was done. Great job and great price! I needed a roof inspection, because after the last really bad wind I saw some roof piece fly off the roof on to the ground. I responded to there post and one of there representative contacted me. She scheduled an inspector. He came out the next day. He was professional and provided me with pic of the attic and the roof. There quote was the best out of 3. They came today and completed the repair quickly (there was 5 of them) and provide more pictures of the repair. We needed a repair from the recent storms. Achilles was the second company we contacted, the first one kept delaying their arrival due to bigger jobs taking priority. After letting the first company go and contacting Achilles, Ahmad came out quickly and gave us a fair quote and scheduled us the next day (after we had been waiting 3 weeks on the other company, we were thrilled). Day of the repair, Ahmad was very communicative with a delay that morning due to a staff call out. Jorge came that afternoon and did the work. It looks good! Achilles roofing may very well be the most professional roofing company I have ever dealt with. Achilles and his team made the entire process of getting a new roof super easy and convenient. He came out when he said he would and even dealt with the insurance company (that is HUGE for me), he worked me in quickly because this was time sensitive, and they did a fantastic job. The attention to detail was wonderful . Achilles and his team answered any questions I had and even assisted me on the documentation for the insurance company like I mentioned. I'd give them 6 stars if it was possible. These guys are extremely responsive and competitive. They hand nailed everything in, within the expected time frame for a complete roof installation. Great communication as well. I had a third party inspect afterwards (friend of mine, so it was free), and no issues. I did inspect again a few weeks after (during the rain) and there was a very very small drip around one roof vent. They showed up within one hour of my message and repaired it at no cost as well as inspected the rest of the roof to verify everything else was good. That was impressive. ~ Robert B

I've had a great experience with Achilles. Ahmad made the entire process of getting my roof replaced and installed such a stress free process. Before going with Achilles, I had tried getting quotes from other roofing companies. Other companies took such a long time to provide us with just an initial quote. Ahmad provided us a quote the very same day he that he came to inspect the roof. Upon agreement, scheduling the time for the work to be done was so easy. He managed to get a crew out the very next Monday. They removed the existing tile roof, added decking and installed the new roof on the house, and installed a new roofing system in my detached garage. This was all done in 2 days!!! Incredible! If you're looking to get your roof repaired/replaced, and are looking to work with a company that provides great customer service, great quality work, and reasonable prices, look no further. One of the most professional and caring contractors I have ever hired. Was extremely helpful and patient while I went was dealing with permitting office for the roof. Once I was able to get my permit, I asked contractor if we could schedule reroofing asap and he had his team at my home within a matter of 3 days. Reroofing was completed in a day and the yard and surroundings were clean and my house with a new beautiful roof like nothing happened. Achilles replaced my brother in laws roof and also repaired my mother in laws roof. We needed repairs on our roof, so we decided to give them a call. They came out the same day to do an inspection. The next day, Teresa called me to let me know that they were available to repair my roof that same day. Jorge came out and explained what he replaced and repaired. He also gave me some other important details. He was very professional. They did not pressure us to pay right after the repairs were done.
